These are 250-300g balls of sourdough pizza, beautifully fermented and ready to use.
When you receive them if you are not using them that day put them straight in the freezer and bring out the day you are wanting to make pizza. They can be frozen for up to 2-3 months.
To use them just take out of the freezer and put into the fridge overnight and keep it there until you want to use it, or put it on bench and let it defrost.
Heat the oven to 250°C with a baking steel, stone or tray in it.
Liberally place some semolina (or flour) on the bench, plop the dough out, liberally sprinkle semolina on top and work from the middle out slowly stretching the dough out. Lift the dough during the process to make sure it hasnt stuck to surface. Leave the outsides puffed up as much as you can. Top with sauce, mozzarella, olive oil etc etc, whatever you want!!
Bake at 250°C for 10-15 minutes.
Note: I now have the most amazing pizza tool in stock. Slide your pizza onto the slider, then slide it off into the oven with absolute ease!! Total game-changer with soft pizza doughs!!
